Halloween

Kara was spider man, Karisa was a cat and Kelly was a bride. They had a wonderfull time in these great costumes.

These are our humungus pumpkins. I think the two big ones were about 30 lbs each.

Well, we made it to halloween. Alright, I'm past halloween, but I guess that's alright. I'm sloow at this blogger stuff. Takes me a while to load pictrues from camera to computer and then put on blog. But we are doing well. We are getting excited about birthdays here at our house. We have two coming up in December. Anyway, just wanted to share some pictures of our halloween with all of you guys.

timpanogas cave

Jason and I in the caves.

We hiked up to timpanogas caves just before school started in August. It was a hard hike. We made the hour and a half hike in about 45 min. with the kids. They totally rocked when we were hiking up and down the trail.

Jason and the girls just enjoying fishing and the nice weather.

We went camping at strawberry resevoir this last weekend. We all had fall break, so we went and enjoyed the nice weather and the fishing.
Well these are from this summer. We were at the park just playing and being goofy.

school still

well, since I'm not very good at putting pictures up I will just write. We are all now in school. Kare enjoys preschool and has a few of the same friends in her class that were there last school year. Which, helps maybe for me more than here, but is nice. A really cute mom moment that I will have forever in my memory is Kara's first day. Kelly and Kara were at home and both ready for school when they hugged with backpacks and all on. It was addorable. Kelley missing her constant compnaion kara at school. It was a cute and very sweet scene that I will always hold dear. My sweet little angels. They are wonderful girls.
I have been thinking about running a half marathon. Big news I know. I ran a 10k a couple weeks ago and it was awesome. So, on saturday I ran 8 miles. It was a little tough in the last two miles. I defineltly need to run more during the week. But, now I know I can run 8 miles. Have not done that for many many years. Felt great after I did it though.
Anyway, we are going to be going to the Colorado state and BYU game on Saturday. Pretty excited, but hope they do better this next game then they did agaisnt Florida. Well, we love you all and hope all is well.

school has started

Well, most of us have officially started school. Karisa is in 2nd grade and really enjoying it. Kelly is in kindergarten and thinks it is the greatest thing in the whole world. She told me yesterday that everyday of school is like the first day of school for her. She just loves being able to go to school and learn and be with new people. She does well w/out any of her sisters right next to her, so that is good. I was worried about that, but it seems the Lord is helping out in every way of our lives. Jason and I are back in school too. It's been hard to start school for us. We're having a hard time being motivated. It was so nice to be home with the children this summer. I really enjoyed spending time with them and reconnecting with them. Kara, the only one not in school yet is enjoying being home or where ever we need her to be until preschool starts for her. She is just a good kid. We are busy and glad to be, but miss the lazy days of summer.

  • Well, I haven't forgot about this blog and actually have some fun pictures to put on, but there we have had some sick kids. Anyway, we are hoping not to have sick kids anymore, but anyway, we are doing well and keeping busy. I ran a 5k a week ago or so. It was great and felt wonderful to get out and race. I did it for the race of it and to do it and it was awesome. I did well, for me and it was great. We are also getting ready to go to Alaska. We are so excited and can't wait to go spend some time by the ocean and relax. We hope all are doing well and mis all of you guys.

These three chicas make me laugh. Just thought these would be fun ones to look at. The picture on the tree is up at Timpangas park in the canyon. The girls posing are their new clothes from aunt kara.

Just thought you all would like to see some of our pictures to Moab. We had a great time except that Kara did end up getting sick. We took our biks and our truck to see if we could do anything fun. Kelly can now ride a two wheeler. Yea for Kelly. She onl fell in the gravel a couple times, but she is pretty darn good. Karisa likes to ride on the slick rock, and Kara very much enjoyed that we put her on the back of one of our bikes. As you can see we had a great time in the truck going down and up some of the crazy slick rock there in Moab. Jason did very good driving on the slick rock trail. I think that we are going back to Moab in the fall when it's not so hot and do some more fun things.

Jason driving the truck down. Thanks to the nice bump at the end we may possibly have an exhaust leak, but that can be fixed right.

We all had a great time hikng on the slick rock. It was actually pretty easy and the girls thought it was awesome by the way they were being little mountain goats.
